Coming to Europe, I knew that the fashion game was going to be a lot different here than it is in America, but I didn’t expect everyone to be on their A-game 24/7. I don’t think I’ve seen a single person in workout clothes here! Either no one works out here, or they are just always dressed to impress. Although this doesn’t apply to someone like a fashion influencer living in LA, but for me, a small town gal, this is new and I would love to help prepare anyone that is planning to travel.
I’m not saying you have to go all out every time you step onto the streets, but living here has pushed me to step out and utilize everything I have in my closet. I’ve grabbed pieces of clothing out of my closet that I’ve worn maybe one time and create something new with it just because I refuse to wear athletic shorts! That being said, I do have a few basic pieces that I’ve picked up on that are very versatile and every girl would look great in when traveling in Italy.
Over the past three week I have seen a ton of maxi dresses. Maxi dresses are easy and way comfortable, they can be worn with sneakers or sandals whether you want cute or casual. Some of my favorite places to shop maxi dresses - Massimo Dutti and Dissh.
Plain t-shirts - I wear a basic white or black top almost everyday. You can dress it up and down. Skims has the best cotton tees.
A button down blouse, wear it to the beach, to a nice dinner, walking around the city. It will always look classy and clean. I bought mine at Target.
The Artizia trouser shorts have been a life saver since i’ve gotten here. They are so comfy (we're all about comfort here) and look so nice with a button down or a plain tee or really any cute top you have in your closet.
I've really been loving a good blazer, but it can be hard to find the right one- Good American has the perfect tailored but oversized look. I admire Ms. Khloe for making the perfect blazer that looks good on everyone.
I know I said we are all about comfort but loafers are so in right now and I am down for it. I do believe a comfy pair are out there but I am still on the hunt to find the perfect pair that don't make my feet cry for help, so I'll let you know when I find them.
Vest and pant/short linen set, trust me on this one, Dissh has some cute, simple sets.
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the school girl skirt look but I do love slip mid skirts, they are good year round with a tank or a sweater, Aritizia is where they are at.

Hope this helps someone before they travel to Europe!
